Jackson School District Curriculum Online

We are proud to announce the launch of a new website that has a searchable database of the approved curriculum in the Jackson School District.

This resource, known as the
Rubicon Atlas Curriculum Program, provides public access to our most up-to-date curriculum, including overviews of content by grade level, unit summaries and the essential questions students are expected to be able to answer upon completion of each unit.

To get started, click on the icon above. Select the “Browse’’ tab to see a list of courses, or begin searching by grade and subject on your own.

For now, the site features our complete curriculum in the areas of English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Physical Education and Health and World Language. This site will be a living database that will be updated as we update our curriculum to be fully aligned with state standards. (e.g. Science, Music, Art, Business, Technology).

We are proud of our curriculum and we hope you will enjoy being able to take a first-hand look at all the ways we strive to help students excel.

Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are at the halfway point of the 4th marking period.  It is amazing how quickly time passes.  While there is still an opportunity to help improve student performance, I encourage you to continue to check the Portal for updates on your child’s academic progress and to reach out to our teachers or counselors if you have a concern.

Additionally, as mentioned in my email blast, we have many student belongings in our Lost and Found bins. Please have your children look here first for any lost or missing items.  All will be discarded after school lets out in June.

Any student who is interested in participating in a Fall sport, you are encouraged to sign up to receive an Athletic Physical through the Jackson School District.  More specific information can be found on our webpage.

As always, the end of year calendar is filled with dances, concerts, academic ceremonies and much more. Therefore, please continue to check our calendar for dates, times and locations of these special events.

It has been a pleasure to serve as this school’s educational leader.  We have accomplished many goals this year including adding technology into our classrooms, incorporating better literacy strategies in all academic areas, promoting a peer observation model for our staff, developing a more comprehensive character education program, evaluating students, staff and parent perspectives on school climate, and improving our facilities.

Thank you all for your continued support throughout this year.  Your involvement, feedback and suggestions have all helped to make McAuliffe an even better place!

Yours in education,

Mrs. Phillips, Principal
