Teens for Jeans helps homeless kids get jeans. 1 in 3 homeless people in the U.S. is under the age of 18. Over the past 4 years Aeropostale & p.s. Aeropostale have collected over 1.4 million jeans during their JEANS FOR TEENS drive across the country.

It's our turn to help out the cause and donate your gently used or new jeans to help the homeless kids.

Every pair counts!

WHAT: Donate your jeans for homeless kids, any size, any kind, gently used or new

WHEN: NOW! contest ends FEB 12th, bring bags in daily!

WHERE: McAuliffe Lobby/Front office drop your jeans in donation bin

WHY: Help the homeless & win the contest MOST JEANS COLLECTED

WINNERS: Get a free pair of new Aeropostale jeans for each school kid, $5000 to McAuliffe School, and a PARTY thrown for the entire school!!

WHO: ALL 6th, 7th, & 8th graders ask your neighbors, your siblings, your cousins, your friends, your parents to donate their gently used jeans to you and bring them in to school to drop in donation bin, the more jeans you collect the closer we get to our WINNING GOAL!

Having trouble accessing the library catalog? This year we will be upgrading our library automation system from InfoCentre to Destiny. The new system will include many new features such as Destiny Quest, Web Path Express and Title Peek.

From the Principal

Hello McAuliffe Families:

Thursday, January 26^th is the last day of the 2^nd marking period. There will be no school for students on Friday, January 27^th for a teacher in-service day. 2^nd marking period report cards will be available on the Portal beginning on February 3^rd.

The upcoming Special Education Advisory Council meeting will provide parents information about Assistive technology devices. Click on the link for more information:

Special Education Advisory Council – Feb. 6^th at 6:30 p.m. at JLHS – Assistive Technology

Attention 8^th grade Parents: There will be an orientation for parents of 8^th grade students at Liberty High School on Thursday, February 2^nd at 7:00 PM. This event is for parents only.

On Thursday, March 22^nd, please consider being a presenter at this year’s career fair. We are looking for people to provide our 7^th and 8^th grade students with information describing their profession, educational requirements and other relevant information. Our goal is to make our students aware of the diverse occupations that exist in our community. If you are interested in participating, please contact the guidance office at 732-833-4701 ext. 7142.

The Annual McAuliffe School Gift Auction is coming! Friday, March 23^rd will be the ‘Rock and Raffle’ event held at the school. More information can be found on the school website.
